If you're still stuck for a DVD gift idea, try these:

– Is your parents' anniversary coming up? Borrow their wedding photo album and preserve their photos on DVD. You can even add their favorite songs! They can watch the DVD of their wedding photos on their TV, or you can use a projector and show it to everyone at a party! An anniversary DVD is ideal at the time of the anniversary, but will be watched many times afterward as well.

– Of course your new baby is the cutest on the planet! Have the first few weeks of baby photos transferred as a DVD Slideshow (with video too!) and send copies of the DVD to proud grandparents, family, and friends. The DVD menu, case and disc can all display an adorable photo of your baby. This DVD also makes a perfect keepsake for your child as he or she grows up. You'll watch this "first birthday DVD" forever.

– Kids usually provide the biggest library of family home movies, from birthday parties to dance recitals to soccer games. You can transfer any pictures of your child's event to DVD, custom-made with his or her photos and favorite music. It's a terrific way to save the sights of a special event.

– Another idea for kids: create a tribute DVD for each of your children: a DVD for Emily with her birth, big soccer win, and prom photos; a DVD for Ryan with his first steps, basketball game, and junior high graduation; and a DVD for Hannah with her third birthday party, dance recital, and National Honor Society induction. These "Growing Up" DVDs make the perfect gift for kids who are turning 18 or graduating from high school.

– Got a special grandparent? An excellent gift for senior citizens is putting the photos of their life onto a DVD. You could start with photos of childhood and go up to the present, using your relative's favorite music in the background. This photo slideshow can either be shown on a home television or on a screen at a special birthday party. Your favorite senior will watch this "personal genealogy video" for years, and show it off to many friends. Plus, long after your favorite relatives are gone, you and your family will be able to know just who they were through their DVD – much more real and alive than any flat photograph in an album.

– Got a special someone? DVDs of "couple history" are sweet and thoughtful anytime – but they're a great Valentine's or anniversary gift! Collect your photos of you as a couple (and "your" songs!) and give the DVD to that special someone. (This can also make an excellent presentation at a wedding or anniversary party!) An anniversary DVD can even be compiled every year, or every 5 years; create a record of your marriage together. Imagine your great-great-grandchildren watching the history of your marriage unfold, year-by-year!

– Weddings provide many opportunities to show a DVD slideshow. In particular, the rehearsal dinner slideshow is becoming especially popular for photo slideshows: Many couples are choosing to show presentations featuring photos of themselves, their families, and bridal party members during rehearsal dinners. This special presentation really gets the tears flowing among family and friends! Often, these slideshows are ordered by parents, bridesmaids, or groomsmen to surprise the happy couple. The reception is also a great place to show this slideshow. And don't forget: after the wedding is over, wedding photos can be preserved through a DVD slideshow featuring the couple's favorite songs. It's the perfect companion to their professional wedding video.

– Reunion sponsors (such as those for a high school reunion or armed forces reunion) can have a terrific fundraiser by inviting alums to preorder a commemorative DVD of the event. Then, after the reunion, the reunon organizers can send the photos to us, and we'll create a DVD (as many as you need) that you can send to all the alums who ordered copies. We offer discount rates on large quantities of DVDs for this exact purpose! Reunions are also a great place to show a photo slideshow on a big screen that shows photos of the participants as they were years ago – it becomes a tribute video for a large group of people.

– School groups, dance schools, and local sports groups often provide events that proud parents photograph. These pictures are usually highly prized by families but seldomed viewed and often are not preserved for the future before they tear or degrade. From championship Little League games to choir concerts, school musicals to each yearly dance recital. A DVD of these events becomes a perfect and long lasting gift for kids, parents, relatives and friends to appreciate and enjoy for years to come.
